Session 110: celebrating Women’s Day in rose and white

ELIO marked International Women’s Day with a themed session, "La vie en rose," dedicated to the women who shape our club.

ELIO closed February with a session dedicated to International Women’s Day. Members and guests arrived in rose and white, setting a warm, celebratory tone for the theme "La vie en rose."

Toastmaster of the Day Sharmila Kalachand guided the session, weaving the day’s significance into every segment — from prepared speeches to table topics — as a tribute to the women who have shaped ELIO since its founding.

It was a fitting reminder that a Toastmasters meeting can be both a rigorous exercise in communication and a genuine celebration of the people in the room.
