PowerSpeak Summit 2025 brings three Areas together

More than a dozen clubs gathered as Areas F01, F03, and F04 hosted PowerSpeak Summit 2025, featuring District Director Ravin Papiah and a full slate of District officers.

Areas F01, F03, and F04 joined forces on 6 August 2025 to host PowerSpeak Summit 2025, drawing more than a dozen Toastmasters clubs under the leadership of Area Directors Sewraj Duhonarrain, Aroona Mugon, and Hannah F. Toofanee, ELIO's own Immediate Past President.

AD Hannah opened as Master of Ceremonies, setting a tone of energy and warmth before District Director DTM Ravin Papiah took the stage with ‘Why We Speak, Why We Lead.’ Program Quality Director DTM Future Moyo followed with ‘Speak to Impact,’ and Club Growth Director DTM Dilshaad Rajabalee closed the trio of District addresses with ‘Stage Time to Leadership Rise,’ each encouraging members to see the stage, and every role in a club meeting, as a place where leaders are made.

The programme also featured a rapid-fire round led by AD Aroona and TM Vasudha, an impromptu appearance from TM Sewin and TM Sharmila, and a masterclass in evaluation from District Champion TM Yashvi. A Q&A with the District team and tokens of appreciation for the Area Directors closed out the summit.

For ELIO, the day was a reminder of how far a single club's leadership can reach when it steps into the wider Toastmasters community.
